The Shekhar Foundation Goshala in the lush green setting of Pachal, Rajapur, Maharashtra, is more than just a shelter — it’s a sanctuary where compassion meets culture. Rooted in the timeless Indian tradition of Gau Seva (service to cows), our Adopt a Cow program offers a meaningful way for individuals and families to support and care for our sacred, gentle companions.

Cows in our Goshala include abandoned, injured, aged, and rescued animals who deserve love, care, and dignity. Through your adoption, you help provide:
